At the top of the pyramid, Newcastle have made the most eye-catching move of recent weeks, splashing out £25.7 million to land Lukas Hornicek from Braga. Chelsea, meanwhile, have been particularly active, bringing in Valentin Barco from Strasbourg and adding experienced striker Danny Welbeck from Brighton to their ranks. The Blues have also secured free agent Jordan Henderson from Brentford, bolstering their midfield options.
